iPod originated from the digital hub strategy of Apple, as the company ventured into software development and the market for digital devices rose. iPod was launched to replace the big and clunky or useless and small digital music players. iPod was developed in less than an year and was launched on October 23, 2001. For downloading a new song from Apple iTunes Music Store, the user must first click on the Music Store icon on the left.
